Breaking new ground and embracing a fresh chapter in the club’s journey, the Under 18’s will kick off their exciting venture against Ambleside United on Sunday, 3 September, at Railway Meadow, proudly sponsored by Joss Engineering.

Manager Mike Hustings underscores the significance of this transition, stating:
“Transition is a keyword at the heart of our club’s football philosophy this season.
“This extends beyond the pitch as our U18s embark on a maiden challenge beyond the familiar local grounds, pitting themselves against new Westmorland area opponents.
“This experience provides a unique chance for the players to continue their evolution from seasoned junior performers to the senior level, a challenge that should not be underestimated.”

Dalton United’s U18 team joins the Kendal College Sports Westmorland & Furness U18 league, aiming to make a mark in this new competitive division. With the aim of fostering growth and development among the young players, the team will play in Sunday afternoon fixtures, all scheduled for 2pm kick-offs.
